Actor, writer, director and executive producer Mindy Kaling made history recently by becoming the first South Asian woman to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
Kaling has acted in, created, and produced many hit shows, including "The Office, "The Mindy Project," "Never Have I Ever," and "The Sex Lives of College Girls. Her latest project is co-creating the Netflix series "Running Point," starring Kate Hudson. It's set to release on Thursday.

Kaling bought a home in Beverly Hills for $15 million in 2023, according to Robb Report. She also owns a nearly $10 million beach house in Malibu that once belonged to Frank Sinatra, and a property in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, Robb Report said.
